Around Easter 2017, Comics Station Antwerp will open in Antwerpen-Centraal railway station. It’s a brand new theme and experience park around popular Belgian comic book characters.
Comics Station is currently being built. It will be about 6000 m², spread over no less than 4 floors. It will be the first theme park of its kind in an international train station! Comics Station will be divided into six zones, each one focusing on a central comics character or family: Lucky Luke, De Kiekeboes, Jommeke, Suske & Wiske, Urbanus and The Smurfs.
Theme park for all ages
Comics Station Antwerp is meant to be a place to be for children as well as adults. There will be a wide range of experiences and interactive installations. There will be room for a reading corner, a creative space, a theater and a cinema hall. Of course you’ll also be able to eat and drink something, or to shop a bit :-)
Now let’s start counting down to the spring of 2017! Meanwhile you can find all information on www.comicsstation.be. If you don’t want to miss any updates, you can also follow Comics Station Antwerp on Facebook.
